What's Eddy Current Separator?
An eddy current separator (also called ECS, Non-ferrous Metal separator) is a machine that's use powerful rare earth magnets to sort and separate non-ferrous metals(such as Aluminum, Copper, brass,bronze,Zinc, Gold, Silver, etc) from mixed wasted and other product stream automatically. This newly researched machine can sort out various of different size waste material. You can reduce labor and increase working efficiency by using this machine.
The control box is made by ourself. Size, height and color can be designed based on your actual conditions.

The width of the machine above is not include the motor size, because the motor is packed separately when shipping.
Size of the motor for magnet separator is 500mm in height.
Size of the motor for belt driven is 260mm in height.
Advantage
Concentric systems suffer from a problem referred to as 'burn-in'. This phenomenon occurs when the product stream still contains iron or ferrous particles and these end up under the conveyor belt. The eddy currents heat up these magnetic particles, just like an induction hob. The hot magnetic particles then burn through the protective jacket, causing permanent damage. Eccentric systems are not susceptible to this problem because they are not magnetic around the entire circumference of the roller and therefore magnetic particles do not remain attached around the entire perimeter.
Advantage
Influencing the ejection angle: the magnetic rotor can be tilted inside the drum, changing the moment at which the non-ferrous metals are ejected.

Advantage
A key advantage of the eccentric rotor is that ferrous metal is significantly less damaging than it would be to a concentric rotor. Ferrous metal heats up very rapidly on an ECS and needs to discharge quickly before causing damage. The arrangement of the eccentric rotor allow ferrous to discharge easily from the rotor. On a concentric rotor it discharges less easily and causes significant wear and damage.
